Thales UK has a fantastic opportunity to recruit a Line Maintenance Technician to join our Avionics team, providing opportunity to develop and work with some of the world’s most advanced technologies, based at London Heathrow Airport.
This is a fixed-term contract opportunity until February 2020 with potential of extension and continuation into a permanent role in the future. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their skills and expertise in electronic and system maintenance, working for world leading organisation providing in-flight entertainment services to over 1 million users worldwide a day.
The role will require you to work with and manage both daily scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events for Aircraft equipped with Thales In-Flight entertainment systems. You will coordinated with Airline and Thales personnel to ensure all maintenance issues are resolved to the highest levels of customer satisfaction; you will work as part of a team of other Technicians and Licensed Engineers who service and maintain the extensive Thales fleet at London Heathrow Airport.
The team operates shift cycles providing 24 hour, 7 day a week, 365 day per year coverage with a shift rota of 4-on-4-off 12 hour shifts .
