Sales Development Engineering (SDE) at National Instruments is a proving ground for future Account Managers. You will be accountable for fielding, identifying and converting new customer & new project opportunities for the sales organisation. What you get to do with our team
To manage inbound customer calls and email queries to problem solve, sell and support as required.
To liaise with customers identified from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL’s) and provide an exemplary level of service.
To have a strong understanding of KPI’s and engage in sales generation activities to maximise new and lapsed business opportunities across a variety of sectors.
Forecast & create a well-qualified pipeline of sales opportunities to build upon – takes responsibility for managing personal lead queues and demonstrate a proactive outlook.
Work with Customer Services to resolve customer issues and provide technical advice.
Recognise, recommend and lead Continuous Improvement projects to further develop Inside Sales.
To understand, evaluate and apply technical information to customer requirements and provide an innovative approach to develop prospect B2B sales.
Work with Sales Managers to further develop and evolve the SDE function within the business.
To provide thought leadership and mentorship to SDE’s and other Inside Sellers as required.
Perform various campaigns around trade shows, specific events, or targets in addition to ongoing primary lead generation activities.
Meet or exceed quotas for qualified leads.
Other ad-hoc duties maybe added as business needs change.
Establish, develop and maintain business and customer relationships.
