The Tooling and Maintenance organisation provides maintenance, calibration, certification and component manufacture across a broad range of installed assets and hand tools within the Broughton Plant. The assets include mechanical and electrical CNC machinery, conventional production machinery, paint shops and chemical processing plants and are serviced by teams of internal skilled employees and contractors. The CMMS provides data to enable monitoring, management and improvement of these asset’s reliability; crucial to the efficient manufacture of wings.
Tasks & accountabilities
Project manage the deployment of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Engage all stakeholders and agree deliverables. Stakeholders exist within T&M, customers are Operations and Engineering, partners are Information Management and Digitalisation.
Develop business benefits and project plan. Run governance process including mitigation actions and escalation.
Link to Smart Maintenance objectives to enhance digitalisation benefits.
Develop flexible reporting system to enable intuitive data analysis by existing team.
Develop and deploy training plan.
Test solution across all T&M service providers.

You must be an undergraduate for the full duration of the placement studying towards a relevant Manufacturing or Engineering degree.
