Airbus Internships

Do you want to gain valuable experience and take on responsibility from the start? Then apply for an internship at Airbus.

What will you be doing?

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will be varied and will require you to use many different skills (technical, project management, communication etc.) in order to complete them successfully; as a diverse and inclusive team there will always be other team-members available to advise and support. We value different ways of thinking and working to get to a solution.

Part of our job is to distill the huge amount of available data from the market down into “bitesize” easily digestible summaries to whet the internal client’s appetites. As the client needs more information on specific topics, we continue to act as the Airbus “voice” to the Supply Chain through various activities: setting up NDAs, managing Teaming Agreements, supporting the negotiations of any Procurement Contracts and helping to resolve any issues with Through Life Support.

This role requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

About you!

Please note, we love your interest in working for Airbus but we do ask that you make only one application. We encourage you to take time to decide which of our exciting opportunities is right for you and then submit an application that best represents you, your skills and experience in connection with the role you have selected.

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Educational requirement: Ideally you will currently be studying a Business-related or an Engineering-related degree.

As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following;

  • The ability to listen, understand and communicate information effectively and efficiently
  • Desire to work in an open and trusting environment, both independently as well as within a larger team
  • Pro-active attitude and positive engagement towards learning in a technical environment with a strong interest in developing yourself
  • Interest in finding, developing and implementing creative solutions to complex problems
  • Professional attitude that will be reflected towards external suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What’s in it for you?

By joining our team as an intern you will:

  • Have the opportunity to work and collaborate with teams across different countries in Europe and worldwide.
  • Be making a difference through being involved in transformation and change projects for the company.
  • Improve your chances of a future role within Airbus while also benefiting your studies.
  • Get the opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice while developing new skills.
