Arup is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, architects, consultants and technical specialists, working across every aspect of today's built environment. Together we help our clients solve their most complex challenges – turning exciting ideas into tangible reality as we strive to find a better way and shape a better world.
Our apprenticeships allow you to study for an academic qualification while working and learning alongside respected, technical professionals. You'll study at a local University whilst working on interesting and varied projects, combining your learning experience with real responsibilities in the workplace. A dedicated mentor and our learning and development team will guide you through your personal and professional development.
We are looking for Building Services Degree Apprentices to join our teams across the UK. You will work alongside and be taught by engineers who designed projects that include the Sandwell Aquatics Centre, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, Brentford Community Stadium, W Hotel in Prague and Car plants for companies such as Jaguar Land Rover and Mercedes. You will help to deliver effective and professional services for a range of high-profile clients and varied projects. While you will have a great deal of responsibility from day one, we will give you the chance to take on more as you broaden your skills and progress your career at Arup.

You'll work with renewable and emerging technologies, and enjoy the chance to take part in a wide range of projects - from newly built sports stadia, to the refurbishment of historic premises. Your projects could span a variety of sectors, including education, sports, health and industry. At Arup, you will have the advantage of Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology. BIM enables us to design buildings collaboratively using computer models. As part of your apprenticeship, you'll study towards a Level 6 degree in Building Services Engineering with one of our local partner universities. You'll specialise in one of the following areas:

Mechanical Building Services Engineers aim to deliver the user comfort whilst also ensuring our designs are as efficient and sustainable as possible.
