About the programme

Would you like to study a degree at university whilst gaining on site experience and knowledge? Our Construction Quantity Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship gives you a chance to earn money, work to gain experience whilst studying all without paying the fees.

If you are looking to get your career moving in a challenging, yet highly rewarding role, then our Construction Quantity Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship opportunity is right for you. Offering an excellent insight into Quantity Surveying and Construction environments, you will also acquire all the skills and knowledge that will help you develop in your career at National Highways.

You will be involved in a plethora of different projects, allowing you to gain an insight into the various programmes and projects available at National Highways. You will be surrounded by experts within the field who will assist in your development whilst in the role. 

This role will start in September 2023.

About you

  • You must hold (or be predicted) a minimum of five GCSEs (including English and maths, at grade C/grade 4 or above); and 
  • 120 UCAS Tariff points - From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-levels (BBB), BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas or the International Baccalaureate.
  • We may also consider applicants who have successfully completed a related Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, or those with non-standard qualifications, or a significant amount of relevant work-based or professional experience. 
  • You’ll evidence the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
  • You’ll evidence the ability to work to timescales, prioritising where necessary
  • You’ll evidence the ability to give and receive information effectively
  • You’ll evidence the ability to write clearly and concisely
  • You’ll evidence you desire and passion to pursue a career at National Highways within Quantity Surveying and the Construction / Built Environment
