Graduate Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer

Electrical, Electronics, Energy, Control & Instrumentation.

About Us

As Britain’s biggest generator of zero carbon electricity we’re busy building Britain’s own wind, nuclear and solar energy supply to reduce our reliance on energy imports and help prevent future price rises.

What's it like to be a Graduate at EDF?
Immy, Jenny and Chiyedza share what life on the Graduate Scheme at EDF is like.

At EDF, we’d love our graduate programme to be a launchpad for your unique career journey. Embolden your passion and ambition, learn from mentors and industry experts, and empower your skills and potential. Let’s inspire change and contribute to building a more sustainable energy future.

Here, success is personal, and through our collaborative 16-month training programme, you’ll learn from the expertise of today and begin developing the creativity and innovation of tomorrow.

“The Science and Engineering Graduate Scheme has given me the fantastic opportunity to work across all aspects of the nuclear lifecycle: Design, Construction, Operation, and Decommissioning. Every team has been enthusiastic about my personal development!” Harry, Engineer

EDF is leading the transition to a cleaner, low-emission, electric future and tackling climate change. We’re generating the right mix of wind, nuclear and solar electricity to power the nation, whatever the weather. We’d love for you to join us on our journey to help Britain achieve Net Zero, together.

Our Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Opportunity

Get ready to launch your Engineering career with our customised 16 month training programme! You'll rotate through exciting placements that are designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. Experience the hands-on work across our Nuclear new build sites.
