AETC Limited is a UK division of the industry leading Precision Castparts Corp (PCC), which employs over 30,500 people across the globe. PCC is the world’s largest manufacturer of airfoil components for the aerospace and Industrial power generation markets. A temporary opportunity is available within our Finance team at our facility in West Yorkshire.
This role is key in providing accurate reporting to the Plant Manager and US parent Company on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Key job responsibilities are:
Daily, weekly and monthly business performance reporting.
Maintaining the SAP standard costing system.
Reconciliation of direct / indirect material and stock.
Analysis of material usage and price variance.
Month end accounting and reporting.
Participating in forecasting and budgeting requirements.
Training of Placement student.

The successful candidate for this role will have the following:
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant financial discipline.
Strong all round IT skills, ideally with some previous working experience of SAP.
Previous accounting experience gained in a similar role (ideally within a manufacturing / engineering environment).
Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
Solid communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to complete work to demanding deadlines.
Proven attention to detail skills.
A structured, method driven approach to all work tasks and strong problem solving ability.
