Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Order Contract Review, Entry and Acknowledgement – can be download/upload from a portal, smart scan or manual entry.
  • Download/upload of VMI Withdrawals.
  • Communicating timely and accurate information to our customers on the status of their orders.
  • Liaising with operations to provide detailed information to our customers regarding their most critical deliveries.
  • Working collaboratively with our customers on order book management to maximise OTIF and Sales and minimise arrears.
  • Supporting the achievement of the department Airbus D1, site OTIF and Airbus Level of Service (LOS) targets through collaborative activities.
  • Customer Scorecard validation.
  • Providing OTIF and Root Cause Analysis (and other information as required) to support customer meetings and site visits and attending those meetings as required.
  • Managing customer complaints regarding paperwork errors and other delivery problems.
  • Maximising the use of Customers’ preferred communication routes (Web Portals, Electronic Data Exchange etc.)
  • Supporting other activities within the team as required e.g. 6S activities.

Qualifications, skills, attributes, experience required: 

  • Good IT skills particularly, but not limited to, MS Excel, Outlook and ERP
  • Organisational skills e.g. time management and ability to prioritise.
  • High level of accuracy
  • Confident communicator
  • Aerospace or other manufacturing experience desirable
  • Experience in a customer (or outward) facing role preferred
  • Good level of influence at all levels and ability to work with employees and Managers at all levels.    
  • Experience of working in a high pressure and fast paced environment and delivering to tight deadlines.  
  • Committed, driven and tenacious.
