About our Graduate Management Development Programme – Starting September 2025:

This two year rotational programme includes working on four 'live' assignments based at two of our 10 UK locations. Locations include – Nottingham, Leeds, Leicester, Birmingham, Hereford, Swansea and Edinburgh. Joining the MDP will provide you with a solid base on which to build your career in operations management, using your engineering, manufacturing or management knowledge to continuously improve our processes. This programme is a key source of our future Operations Directors and General Managers, who effectively influence the future direction of the company.

You will have unrivalled exposure to the workings of our industry and enjoy continuous personal growth and development within one of the world's leading suppliers to the aerospace, civil, military and power generation industries.

Year/Location 1 

  • Rotation 1: Continuous Improvement
  • Rotation 2: Supervise a small operations area

Year/Location 2

  • Rotation 3: Continuous improvement/New job introduction; Quality, Sales, Equipment implementation
  • Rotation 4: Supervise a larger operations area

We are looking for Future Leaders with:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in:
    • Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing/General/Chemical)
    • Management
  • You will have a natural presence, outstanding communications (verbal and written), leadership potential, ability to influence, work within and direct a team.
  • Ideally experience in manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Must have existing right to work in UK (such as Citizenship or Permanent Residency)
  • Must be willing to relocate if required

Benefits:

  • Salary from £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • 25 days' holiday (plus 8 Bank Holidays)
  • Pension
  • Sign on bonus of £2,000
  • Graduation bonus of £3,000
  • Pay increase after 1 year based on performance
  • Quarterly training and development meet up’s
  • Visits to other UK site locations within PCC
