We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, ambitious and skilled individual who thrives on a challenge to undertake a 12 month placement within our IT team. The individual will report to the West Yorkshire IT Manager and duties would include:

Installation /Upgrade of Desktop systems
Support of Desktop Systems and Peripheral Equipment
Provide user-level software support on Microsoft products and other business applications
Maintain and configure existing servers
Active Directory User account setup
Support of Manufacturing Control PC’s
Configure and maintain network switches and hubs
Properly document all calls and problem resolutions.

Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
Knowledge of hardware and software installation
Strong MS Office skills
Familiarity with standard desktop concepts and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
To be a well motivated, self starter with drive and enthusiasm
To have excellent attention to detail and produce quality work within set timeframes
To have a structured, method driven approach to all work tasks.
