AETC Limited is a UK division of the industry leading Precision Castparts Corp (PCC), which employs over 30,500 people across the globe. PCC is the world’s largest manufacturer of airfoil components for the aerospace and Industrial power generation markets. An opportunity is available at our facility in West Yorkshire. 

About the Role

This role would be based at our Leeds site, where you will work on a variety of projects within the Engineering Department, with a key focus on new product development and existing part cost reduction and using your skills to identify and pursue process/procedure improvements. Our talented Engineers take customer products and design a casting process from wax to final inspection. The Department has a key aim of improving part yield.

To become part of our innovative team, you will need: 

• To be studying for a relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Automotive/Materials/Aerospace), with a strong predicted grade (2.1 or above)
• Well developed problem solving skills
• Strong IT Skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and challenge ways of thinking
• A keen interest in manufacturing and precision engineering
• A passion for driving continuous improvement projects
• To be a well motivated, self starter with drive and enthusiasm
• To have excellent attention to detail and produce quality work within set timeframes
• To have a structured, method driven approach to all work tasks

Benefits

• £19,000 per annum salary
