About the Role

This role would be based at our Leeds site, where you will work on a variety of projects within the Process Engineering Department, with a key focus on process control and continuous improvement. You will use your skills to identify and pursue process/procedure solutions.

Our team of talented Process Engineers define the processes and materials used in manufacturing precision cast parts for OEMs. The Department has a key aim of creating and enhancing robust processes. The successful candidate will report to the Process Control Manager.

The role requires:

• To be studying for a relevant engineering or science degree (Materials/Aerospace/Chem Eng) with a strong predicted grade (2.1 or above)
• Proven hands-on problem-solving skills and familiar with statistical process control Strong IT Skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and challenge ways of thinking
• A keen interest in manufacturing, science, and precision engineering
• A passion for pursuing data-driven improvement projects
• To be a motivated, self-starter with drive and enthusiasm
• To have excellent attention to detail and produce quality work within set timeframes To have a structured, method driven approach to all work tasks

Typical projects would include:

• Material selection and performance
• Part yield improvements
• Process monitoring and controls in Wax, Shelling and Foundry

• £19k Per Annum Salary
• 38 hour working week

  • 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Tuesday
  • 7:30am - 4:15pm Wednesday - Thursday
  • 7:30am - 12pm Friday
