At EMEC you will:

  • Have a tour of ExxonMobil’s Fawley Refinery, the UK’s largest refinery
  • Be able to find out more about our different business areas and UK operating sites

  • Have a face-to-face interview for a placement.

The ExxonMobil Energy Challenge will be hosted at a hotel in Hampshire, near ExxonMobil’s Fawley Refinery.

EMEC will take place on:

  • 7th September – Chemical engineers + STEM degrees candidates
  • 12th September - Chemical engineers + STEM degrees candidates
  • 14th September - Chemical engineers + STEM degrees candidates

During the application process you will be asked to state your preference on which date you can attend. We will endeavour to accommodate your preferred date of attendance, but you will also be asked to provide a 2nd date preference. If you are successful through the application process we will inform you of your date to attend EMEC.

The day will start at 8.30am and finish by 5.30pm. If required, overnight accommodation will be provided on a shared room basis the night before. Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
