Where the STEM jobs are
Gradcracker works here's the proof
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our rapidly growing security engineering team based in our London or Oxford office.
This is a new role for a Graduate Security Engineer, to work within our technical and engineering team on projects across various sectors and at different stages of the RIBA plan of works - from concept design through to construction, hand-over and in-use assessments.
Support will be provided throughout from senior members of the team.
As a graduate engineer, your day-to-day tasks will vary, as we’ll expose you to all aspects of our work so you can develop a good all-round understanding of security engineering. You could be developing security threat and risk assessments through to the production of detailed designs and drawings, use the latest computer modelling software, undertake site surveys, or research ground-breaking technologies.
Communication is a constant feature of the role - we regularly liaise with project teams, meet clients or end users, and attend collaborative meetings.
As a graduate your learning will be a mixture of project led, self-learning and appropriately selected courses. As part of Hoare Lea, we are committed to the ongoing professional development of our graduates and support you towards achieving Chartered Engineer or incorporated Engineer status.
