Your skills

What will you be working on?

Roke works on a diverse range of projects, of different types and sizes. You may be performing a short study or piece of exciting research. You might be working on the next naval radar system for warships. You might be designing a navigation system for a rover on the surface of Mars. Or the next-generation of military communications system. Broadly, our projects typically involve the following domains:

Entry Requirements:

Competition is high and you will need a good honours degree in a subject such as Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

Due to the nature of the work that Roke undertake candidates must be 18yrs or over and willing to undergo, and eligible to achieve HMG security clearance (prior to appointment). As a result, candidates should ideally be a British Citizen, however, you can hold another nationality and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
