"One piece of advice I’d give to any new graduates joining IMI is don’t hesitate to ask! Asking questions will enable you to get as much out of the programme as possible – and everybody is super happy to help."
The IMI programme was like nothing else I had seen from other companies in my country [Poland]. But it was exactly what I had dreamed of – engineering experience in so many different roles and countries, and the chance to do important work straight after graduation.
I am currently on my third placement within IMI Hydronic Engineering. My first was at home in Poland. For the next two, I relocated to Switzerland, which has been a great adventure. I have assimilated into this amazing country and culture very quickly, and I’ve already made some close friends.
One piece of advice I’d give to any new graduates joining IMI is don’t hesitate to ask! Asking questions will enable you to get as much out of the programme as possible – and everybody is super happy to help.
