Our PowerVR Graphics team have an opportunity to take your ASIC design and verification skills to a whole new level on cutting edge designs. The global team are looking for an engineer who enjoys working collaboratively to solve problems. Within this team an engineer will work within a small friendly team of world class design and verification engineers where contribution and creativity are welcome.

A day in the life of Imagination

Imagination is a global technology leader whose products touch the lives of billions of people across the globe.

You will:

  • Have full ownership of the design and/or verification of one or more modules within the graphics processing unit (GPU) core.
  • Use leading edge integrated circuit verification techniques and methodologies such as UVM.
  • Work on a variety or both design and verification projects across global teams on IP level IC design and verification.
  • Be write and convey technical specifications, including reading and writing module specifications and identify holes in them.

You have:

  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience of HDL or Verification.
  • The skill to be able to communicate technical issues both in written form and verbally.
  • Good knowledge of digital logic.
  • Good knowledge of integrated circuit verification techniques and methodologies.
  • Coding experience.
  • Basic mathematics and binary arithmetic.
  • Experience working on multiple projects at one time.
  • Worked autonomously.

You may also have:

  • Graphics knowledge.
  • ASIC design flow.
  • Skill in the synthesis of IP.
  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog including classes (or similar language experience in writing assertions.
  • Experience of ASIC design and/or verification in the field of graphics, video, microprocessors, or full SoC.
  • Experience of verification planning and the DV life cycle.
  • Knowledge of low power design techniques, UPF and power aware verification.
  • Knowledge of SoC test techniques such as ATPG and BIST.
  • Formal property verification (FPV).
  • Experience of formal equivalence checking for functional verification.
  • Skill scripting in Python, bash, TCL, Perl, SystemC, C++.
