What you’ll be doing

The Competitive Performance Analysis Team is a part of IMGLabs at Imagination. This team helps IMGLabs understand trends in the semiconductor industry by studying competitor products. It is responsible for performance and power analysis of competitor and internal products; thereby influencing the Graphics/AI/Automotive strategy.

You will:

  • Understand the GPU architecture and Graphics pipeline.
  • Identify and analyse performance bottlenecks.
  • Study Internal/Competitive architectures and develop tests to expose strengths/weakness.
  • Use Internal and 3rd party tools to analyse the performance.
  • Develop micro benchmarks as well as use internal/3rd Party benchmarks for performance measurements.
  • Evaluate performance of different workloads (real world as well as synthetic) on different architectures.

You have;

  • Strong interest in graphics programming using GLES/Vulkan.
  • Good C/C++ skills,
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
  • A strong desire to learn and discover

You might also have;

  • Any prior experience on Android Development.
  • Understanding of Graphics architecture.
  • Any prior experience of cross compilation/tool chains.
