Where the STEM jobs are
Gradcracker works here's the proof
"The graduate boot camp was a great way to network and meet other graduates."
I applied to Costain back in 2011 because it's a large and well-respected company, with a good reputation and first-class graduate scheme. It gave me a huge boost when my application proved successful and I was sponsored throughout my Degree course. During that five years, I completed Summer work placements, plus a year working within the industry as an Undergraduate Civil Engineer.
Costain's recruitment and joining process offered clear "stepping stones" and graduate boot camp was a great way to network and meet other graduates.
The company also offers great career development opportunities and this is helping me work towards my eventual target - securing Chartership.
I was looking for a career that was varied and challenging and my time at Costain has certainly proved interesting and has offered a series of difficult challenges.
The two main highlights included:
My Thames Water Spotlight nomination for the environmental champion award in the excellence in communities, better environments category.
Developing my ability to resolve on-site issues and identifying and implementing solutions that result in a positive impact.
