The External Communications team is responsible for promoting the impact of STFC facilities, grant funded research programmes, international partnerships, and knowledge exchange and economic impact. It is also responsible for managing STFC’s reputation and fulfilling requirements set out by out by government including publishing an annual report. The team use a variety of platforms both digital and hard copy to engage with all of STFC’s audiences.
Summary of Key Duties & Responsibilities
Monitoring our social media accounts and providing creative to enhance our output
Assisting with the creation of social media evaluation reports
Gathering news stories through networking across our sites and facilities
Producing digital materials including video, photography and audio files for use across a range of platforms, including content for real time use such as live tweets from STFC events
Writing content for a variety of platforms
Providing general communications assistance in areas such as media, stakeholder engagement, internet and web, internal communications and communications planning.
