Our Partnerships

Nissan believes in enriching people’s lives. We work with partners across the world that share our vision and commitment to a world with Zero Emissions, Zero Fatalities, and Zero Inequalities.

Formula E

Step inside the amazing world of Nissan Formula E, where electricity and excitement lives at the heart of all we do. Nissan made its all-electric racing debut as partner and shareholder of the e.dams team in Season 5 (2018/19) of the ABB FIA Formula E championship.

Nissan is currently the only Japanese automotive manufacturer in Formula E, and together the team has won 2 races and finished 2nd in the Season 6 standings. Our Formula E programme powerfully demonstrates the "performance side" of Nissan Intelligent Mobility - the company's forward-looking vision for changing how cars are powered, driven and integrated into society.

Nissan has been a global partner of the City Football Group since 2014, proudly supporting this unique group of innovative football clubs all playing an exciting style of football to entertain millions of fans across the world. Nissan is the Official Car Partner of both Manchester City’s men’s team, current Premier League Champions and women’s team.

Our collaboration with City Football Group has brought fans closer to the excitement of their favourite teams and players including innovating the live coverage of Manchester City Women’s matches to enable more fans to watch; and the provision of vehicles to enable City in the Community projects, which support health, education and inclusion among young people.

Nissan is proud to sponsor the London Marathon and the Great Run Series – the two largest mass-participation running events in the UK. Nissan will deliver a fleet of 100% electric Nissan ARIYA, LEAF and e-NV200 vehicles to support the environmental sustainability ambitions of both events, as well as eliminating carbon emissions from the lead vehicles on the course, to the benefit of runners and the general public at the events.

In addition to working to deliver more sustainable race events, Nissan will also be using the partnerships to support its commitments to diversity and inclusion, working towards zero inequality in our society, as part of the Nissan Possibilities Project.
