Where the STEM jobs are
On any day, 2.5 billion people use Unilever products to look good, feel good and get more out of life – giving us a unique opportunity to build a brighter future.
Great products from our range of more than 400 brands give us a unique place in the lives of people all over the world.
When consumers reach for nutritionally balanced foods or indulgent ice creams, luxurious shampoos or everyday household care products, there’s a good chance the brand they pick is one of ours. Seven out of every ten households around the world contain at least one Unilever product, and our range of world-leading, household-name brands includes Lipton, TRESemmé, Dove, Lynx, Hellmann’s and Ben & Jerry's. Trusted local brands designed to meet the specific needs of consumers in their home market include Pureit and Suave.
Whatever the brand, wherever it is bought, we’re working to ensure that it plays a part in helping fulfil our purpose as a business – making sustainable living commonplace.
We've been serving the UK for well over a century and our mission is to meet everyday needs for nutrition, home hygiene and personal care with brands that help people feel good, look good and get more out of life.
In fact, 16 of our 40 brands are UK market leaders, such as Persil, Magnum and Marmite - and you can find our products in the kitchens, fridges, freezers and bathrooms in nine out of every ten UK homes.
London is home to one of our two global headquarters, the other being in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. We have three global research facilities at Port Sunlight, Colworth and Leeds, as well as manufacturing sites and distribution depots around the UK.
With annual UK sales of around 2 billion euros, we go to great lengths to ensure that that we build on and maintain the trust between our business and the people who buy our products.
We believe that this trust is earned through the way we care about and contribute to the society – and not just through the benefits our products deliver. Through employee volunteering, community work and charitable donations, we contribute around £8 million to projects in the UK, including pioneering initiatives in sustainable development, education, the arts, and nutrition and health.
