If you have a logical mind, enjoy problem solving and are interested in Operations Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Planning or Logistics, then a 12 weeks Summer Placement in Supply Chain Management at Unilever could be for you. Believe it or not, Unilever’s global Supply Chain is the largest division in the company. We make some of the world’s best loved brands (Dove, Tresemmé, Ben & Jerry’s, Comfort, Knorr and Marmite to name a few), and we want students with the will to lead others in driving these brands forward.
At every stage of our supply process, starting with sourcing raw materials and ending with timely delivery to our customers. It’s down to us to make sure our products are available on the shelves at the highest quality, when consumers want them and at a good price.
For Supply Chain, you’ll need a strong background in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing or similar engineering qualification. We also accept Mathematics, Technology, or Design-related disciplines. Students must have completed the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree by the time they start their placement and be returning to study after their placement.
With a strong performance culture, challenging goals and continuous feedback, we will support you to achieve your potential in an inclusive environment. You will thrive by gaining exposure to real business challenges where your energy and fresh thinking will have an impact. First-hand experience- it’s the fastest way to learn.
Our Supply Chain Management Summer Placements are a chance to showcase your ambition, thinking and skills, with total support from a line manager and a buddy either in one of our factories or the head office. Students who successfully pass our Summer Placement programme will be fast-tracked to the final stage of the selection process for the Unilever Future Leaders Programme – The Discovery Centre Day.
