This programme is aimed primarily at students who come from a low socioeconomic background. By low socioeconomic background we mean:
*Parental occupation socio-economic classification is a national standard and the Social Mobility Work’s toolkit (found here) provides details on the categorisations.
**Free School Meals are a statutory benefit available to school-aged children from families who receive other qualifying benefits and who have been through the relevant registration process. It does not include those who receive meals at school through other means e.g. boarding school.
As part of your application, you will be given the opportunity to share any extenuating circumstances that may have impacted your degree outcome. Supplying us with this information will not negatively impact your application, but it may provide a positive uplift on your academic achievements. You can also choose to opt out of sharing it.
Our Technology & Engineering Social Mobility Talent Insight Programme is open to students who are in their final year of study at university, as well as those who have graduated already. Those who join the programme and pass our Virtual Launch Pad assessment day will be made a Graduate offer to commence in Autumn 2023.
As the insight programme is not that long, the focus for you will be to ensure every second counts. It's an opportunity to learn new skills, enhance your CV, learn about the world of work and, importantly, get your foot in the door of one of the leading professional services firms. And if you're inspired by the time you spend with us here and go on to join us full-time once you’ve graduated, you’ll get access to exemplary training and development to help you thrive.
This is a 3-day virtual paid Insight programme and will run 18th – 20th April 2023. You will be paid a salary equivalent to the living wage salary.
If you are successful in passing the final stage of our process, the Delivering Outcomes Assessment, we may reach out to you to discuss graduate programme preferences. Your preference will be considered, however, cannot be guaranteed.
