The role

At Ford Credit Europe, we believe in helping you acquire the skills you need to succeed within our Business and we are proud to say that our graduates are a core part of our organisation from their very first day.

As a Business graduate, you will participate in an initial six-month placement within our Manchester Business Centre, followed by two substantive placements of 12 months within core business departments. Our placements are functional and operational roles within the departments, which means you have the ability to make a real difference to our organisation. Our graduate scheme seeks to provide you with exposure to a number of roles and departments rather than specialising in just one area. For curious and driven graduates it is an opportunity to gain a variety of experiences, meet people across the organisation, learn new ways of working and drive our business forward.

Initial Placement

Your initial placement will be in our Manchester Business Centre and will last for six months, during which time you will rotate through at least two roles in Retail Operations.

Within these roles, you will be learning the business from the ground up and will be providing first line telephone support to customer enquiries, day-to-day management of Ford Credit Finance Facilities or assessing the credit worthiness of retail and small business customers. You shall be assigned a graduate buddy to support your transition into our organisation and your initial placement will provide you with an in depth insight to our base business, equipping you with in depth knowledge and understanding to enable you the potential to become a future leader at Ford Credit.

Further Placement Opportunities

After your first placement, you will be assigned a mentor from our Leadership Team and will have two further graduate placements, supported by ongoing training opportunities. All our graduate placements are designed to provide you with broad experience of the Ford Credit business to support your development in becoming a future leader.

You could be working in areas such as Risk, Compliance, Insurance, Marketing, Mobility, Worldwide Trade Finance, Strategy or Sales, and based in Essex or Manchester. Your placements are decided by business leaders on our Graduate Committee; taking into consideration your personal preferences where possible. Some placements will offer the opportunity to utilise your language skills where applicable.
