Job Description

You will be working in the systems delivery team who produce high quality software for local and national government, covering a wide variety of customer focussed projects including transport network management, crisis management and data analysis software, along with provision of public facing websites and mobile applications.

You will work on the full lifecycle of a project from requirements capture, design and delivery of high quality software through to final deployment and client handover. Your activities will include design, software development, software testing, database development, and live system support.

Candidate Specification

We are looking for people who have or about to qualify with an honours degree (2:1 or above) in computer science or a software related discipline. Your studies and any commercial experience will have included strong object oriented design and development along with a good understanding of web technologies such as:
  • Java
  • JavaScript and associated frameworks
  • HTML / CSS
  • XML / JSON
  • SQL
