Imagine trying out a career for a year before you commit. Our Industrial Placements are a great way for university students to make sure you’re on the right path. One that allows you to be fully yourself and channel your passions for a powerful collective impact
For six-to-twelve months you’ll be part of our community at Deloitte, training and working alongside our first-year graduate intake. You’ll be paid a competitive salary throughout your placement and if you impress us, you could be offered a place on our graduate scheme. But it’s not all about what we think of you, this is just as much about you getting to know us — during your placement you’ll get a real feel for who we are and if we’re the right fit for you.

Audit & Assurance

In Audit & Assurance, there are endless opportunities to make your mark. From working in our diverse teams, to developing robotic technology that will streamline processes, Audit & Assurance has never been so innovative or forward-thinking. Our coaching framework combines formal training with on-the-job learning, in an inspiring, diverse and inclusive environment. Following these five-to-six year programmes, you’ll graduate with a prestigious ICAEW, ICAS or CIMA accounting qualification.

By joining us you’ll have the chance to work directly with major clients, honing your skills through our excellent training programme, in order to deliver impactful services. Early on in your career you’ll be given responsibility for developing people and managing teams, supported by us every step of the way.

Will I get paid?

Of course. You’ll be paid a competitive salary throughout your placement and if you impress us, you could be offered a place on one of our Graduate Programmes. You’ll get a real feel for who we are and if we’re the right fit for your future.

Will I be working on live projects?

The work you do will depend on the role and location you choose, but whatever direction you take, you’ll get to work on live and exciting projects from day one.

How will I develop?

We’ll make sure you get to work directly with clients and on projects where your work has a very real and meaningful impact on their success. Being trusted with real responsibility will give you the opportunity to see what you’re capable of. But don’t worry, you’ll have all the support and training you need to succeed.

Are there any entry requirements?

Most of our Industrial Placements ask for:

  • Predicted degree classification of 2:1 or above in any discipline
  • 104 UCAS points if gained after 2017 – or 260 if before
  • GCSE English Language Level 4 if 2017 or after – or a grade C if before
  • GCSE Maths Level 5 if after 2017 – or a grade B if before.
