Here at the MTC, we know that to continue realising our vision to inspire great British manufacturing on the global stage, means to continue having the right people in place throughout the company. And our Graduate Development Programme has been put together to help us do just that. Structured to give you the experience, knowledge and skills to become a competent and confident professional engineer, it represents a fantastic opportunity to take control of your future with a company that’s building an enviable reputation for bringing great ideas to life.
Our two-year rotational programme is specifically designed to build your experience and understanding of our key work-streams, including Advanced Production Systems, Component Manufacturing Technology, Digital Engineering. Intelligent Automation and Transformation. Working on exciting live projects from the start, alongside some of the best minds in the industry, you’ll learn first-hand what it takes to build a successful and rewarding engineering career bridging the gap between academia and industry.
In addition, to being part of the Monitored Professional Development Scheme (MPDS) and having a dedicated mentor to guide you through the programme’s requirements, we’ll also help you hone essential business, commercial and personal leadership skills, including problem solving and creativity, financial awareness, and effective relationship building.
While success is important to us, we like to go about our business in the Right Way. So, you’ll be responsible, honest, imaginative and a real team player who has:
Customers buy our knowledge and that is our people and we only achieve this success because of our people.
Being as good as you can be is as important to us as it is to you. So, we actively encourage your ongoing development, giving you the time and financial support to pursue higher academic ambitions where relevant. We’ll also reimburse you up to £350 per annum for any professional subscriptions with IMechE or other relevant institutions, and if you’ve an idea for a club or society, we’ll support you in setting it up with up to £500 funding annually. Plus, in addition to a generous pension scheme and life assurance as standard, you can look forward to healthy work/life balance with 33 days' paid holiday each year and the opportunity to buy or sell five extra days, twice a year.
So, are you inspired by the thought of impacting society in the right way? If so, we look forward to hearing from you.
