Date of Joining MTC Graduate Programme: September 2013
A friend of mine worked at the MTC and had told me great things about the place. After doing a bit of research, it was clear that the MTC was at the heart of cutting edge technology and I wanted to be part of it.
The idea of spending 6 months in four different technology areas was something which excited me and I knew I had to take advantage of that. The structure of the programme, MPDS and the support of my mentor and the other graduates all combine to make an effective and well-regarded programme.
The graduates at the MTC are treated no different to Research Engineers. The work that we are given are real deliverables which will make a difference to the customer. We are always given help and training to ensure that we carry out the work to the best of our ability.
I think my graduate programme has accelerated my career development, as it has given me the opportunity not only to work alongside the leaders of the field, but the responsibility and variety of work I’ve been exposed to has been second to none.
Most definitely! I have played an active role in graduate assessment centres at the MTC and use the networking opportunities to help the applicants see the great benefits of working here.
