Renishaw is offering an exciting opportunity for a recent Graduate Engineer within the Assembly Systems Group (Manufacturing Services Division). Applicants will be considered from a wide range of STEM subjects, such as mechanical, integrated, and manufacturing engineering to physics / scientific, computer programming / software and maths. Our aim is to develop an ambitious, talented, and self-motivated graduate into a skilled and highly capable technical engineer.
This role offers a multi-disciplined and highly technical opportunity working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the wider manufacturing team, delivering technical solutions such as complex test rigs, introducing new equipment to production, supporting current assembly processes, and designing and developing processes for high precision optical and electro-mechanical product assembly.
This role provides the chance to learn more about what a career in a modern manufacturing facility really means and an excellent insight to how a manufacturing organisation interacts with the entire business. There will be exposure to all levels of management, giving a great opportunity to appreciate the importance of this role and the tangible output it gives to the business.
To enable you to get fully integrated into the team, you will be mentored and supported by our management staff. You will be encouraged to participate in the relevant areas associated with manufacturing and assembly operations of our highly complex and varied range of products. Contributing to, and developing in, areas such as project management, cost and budget management, technical specifications, validation testing and design, automation opportunities and real life, time-pressured problem solving.
