As a Graduate Electronics Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring Renishaw remains a market leader, often by using the latest electronic technology to ensure the best possible performance from our products. Graduate Electronics Engineers are challenged with developing and delivering smaller, faster and more reliable products.
You will follow a personalised and structured two-year programme based on a series of six-month placements covering a broad range of product areas in the design divisions. Placements and projects will enhance your current skills and knowledge, feeding your ambitions and involve work on real projects delivering tangible business benefits. Once complete you will join a project division to continue your career development.
Within Renishaw Electronic Engineers require a variety of different skills from: analogue to digital; embedded software to VHDL and DSP coding; DC to RF; passives to custom silicon design; magnetic sensing to opto-electronics; circuit design to PCB layout; blue-sky research to final development.
Graduate Electronic Engineers will gain an understanding of:
Signals and Systems
Conceptual and prototype design and development testing
Career progression within this stream is likely to take you down either a technical route, to Senior then Principal Design Engineer, or to a more managerial position like Technical/Design Manager.
When you join Renishaw, we're committing to your future career. That's because we believe in developing our people's skills and promoting them internally.
