Renishaw offers exciting opportunities for graduates within our Manufacturing Services Division. The Software graduate development programme aims to develop ambitious, talented and self-motivated graduates into the skilled technical experts required to grow and advance our manufacturing organisation.
Our Graduate Software Engineers (integrated within our larger manufacturing graduate scheme) will follow a personalised and structured two and a half year programme.
Meet Pete, Electronic Design Manager, and find out what support Renishaw offers its graduates. To watch the full Gradcracker/Renishaw webinar, click here.
You will experience both software development placements and rotate through functional areas within the manufacturing services division (including mechanical production engineering, electronics, and operational placements to broaden knowledge and understanding of the organisation and provide a set of skills that ordinarily you would not gain through a typical specialist graduate route).
Training will be provided in both course form and directly on the job. By the end of the scheme, you will understand the full process development function, including software, electronic, mechanical, and integration disciplines with excellent career progression opportunities and a meaningful role within our Manufacturing Services Division.
By investing in your personal development, we hope to build up and broaden your knowledge and experience to create a confident and skilled professional.
Programming languages focusing on LabVIEW, but also C#, SQL, and PLC, and occasionally others depending upon the desired solution and platform that the software is to run on.
Our aim is to provide you with a variety of software development methodologies and approaches, as well as core skills gathered as you rotate through different functional areas within the division.
You will directly contribute to key process development and automation projects and subsequently receive excellent job satisfaction through the completion of both short and longer-term activities.
