Overview

A commercial summer placement at Renishaw offers you the chance to learn more about the commercial functions within a global manufacturing organisation.

Each placement will involve working on live projects under the mentorship of our senior managers. As well as gaining hands on experience in your chosen field, you will have the opportunity to connect with people working in the business and discuss your career ambitions and ideas with employees in similar roles.  

What will I be doing?

Our Marketing placements work on a variety of tasks around the creation of the marketing collateral used to publicise Renishaw's products worldwide. This can include digital content creation, email marketing, video and animations, sales brochures, technical documentation, news articles for industry journals, plus demonstration equipment and graphics for exhibitions.

What skills and experience do I need?

Students applying for this position should be studying at degree level in disciplines such as Business Management, Marketing, International Business Studies and Digital Marketing.

Applicants will need:

  • A high standard of verbal and written communication (including presentation skills)
  • A collaborative approach and be keen to share information and take on new knowledge and skills
  • The ability to prioritise and plan work effectively
  • To work under pressure when required
  • An Interest in technology

Where will I be working?

This role is based at our New Mills headquarters near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire, you may on occasion be required to travel to other Renishaw sites for work. As Renishaw is based in a semi-rural location, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or be willing to relocate to the local area.

This placement will start in summer 2022 and the closing date for applications is midday on Friday 11th February 2022.
