Today, Bombardier Transportation’s Procurement teams operate complex supply networks, design and implement sourcing strategies, manage and develop suppliers and ultimately take a leading role in internal and external collaboration within Bombardier Transportation’s organisation.

You will join a two year intensive training programme with a series of placements around the business, providing a firm foundation in the application of Procurement knowledge, skills, tools and techniques. Placements typically include the different functions within Procurement and in functions that have a close relationship with Procurement.
Joining the team in Derby will mean working on real assignments and gaining hands-on experience with responsibility from day one. You will have a chance to build a personal network within the wider business in order to develop overall business awareness, share best practice and foster cross functional working.
With an experienced Mentor to guide you and undertaking a variety of training modules, you will work towards gaining a professional qualification while also building both technical and interpersonal skills.
You will need a minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM related subject (preferable supply chain) or engineering with excellent analytical skills, commercial acumen, creative thinking and strong leadership qualities.
