The programme:

Our three year European Graduate Programme is a strategic investment into our future leaders. When you join, right from day one you will work on challenging projects. We are committed to providing you with an environment in which you can learn, grow and develop.

You will be part of a small team of electronic engineers working closely with physicists and experts in high pressure gases and cryogenic liquids. You will have the chance to design schematics, PCB layouts for your own designs, then build and prove them, with a variety of projects throughout the scheme. You will need to apply critical thinking to analyse problems, handling large datasets of results and engineering innovative solutions.

The graduate programme experience will involve:

  • Analog & digital hardware Design (Schematic, Board Layout, Prototype building / testing)
  • Firmware development (C)
  • Software development (C#, Python)
  • Data analysis (using Excel, MATLAB…)
  • Knowledge of the Internet of Things and its associated protocols would be an advantage
  • Customer trials
  • Third party vendor interaction.

Your qualification and skills:

We are looking for talented, bright individuals, who are enthusiastic and motivated and who can work effectively as part of a team.
You will have graduated in 2018 or will graduate in 2019 with a Bachelors or a Masters in Electronic Engineering (on track to achieve a 2:1 or above).

Finally, ideally, you need to possess a clean UK driving license in time for the start of the programme in September 2019.
