The programme:

Our European Graduate Programme is a strategic investment into our future leaders of Air Products and innovators that will keep us ahead in our field. When you join, right from day one you will work on challenging assignments. We are committed to providing you with an environment in which you can learn, grow and develop. Whether you’re interested in the engineering or commercial aspects of our business, our three-year graduate programme is structured to give you the greatest opportunity to develop your career to its highest potential in both these areas, before you decide on the direction you wish you take.

You will receive a healthy remuneration package which, as well as a great starting salary, includes additional benefits such as pension scheme, 26 days annual leave, Employee Assistance Programme and preferential gym membership (in some of our locations). Our high achievers are likely to be promoted within the first 18-24 months and if your performance continues to exceed all expectations you can expect a similar continuation of advancement from then on. In addition, we will support you in achieving Chartership within 6 years as the scheme is accredited by the IChemE.

Your qualification and skills:

We are looking for talented, bright individuals, who are enthusiastic and motivated, can work effectively as part of a team, keen to learn new techniques and apply their skills in a commercial organisation.

You will possess a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering (2:1 or above / or equivalent). You will have excellent communication skills, problem solving attitude and leadership potential. If you speak a second European language such as Flemish, French, Spanish or Polish this would be a significant advantage too.

If you have a Chemical Engineering background, currently completing or have recently completed your degree, and you feel you are ready for a commercial challenge then why not take advantage of our European Engineering Opportunities?

You will also need to be fully mobile and willing to relocate during the course of the programme, as our assignments are based throughout the UK and mainland Europe. Finally, ideally you need to possess a clean UK driving license in time for the start of the programme in October 2019.
