As a member of the Greater Europe sales team, you will be supporting business development opportunities within the region. This role involves cross functional work across the Cummins business where you will have the unique opportunity to interact with many different functions internally including marketing communications, product management, engineering, distribution and aftermarket as well as externally with distributors and at times with end customers. You will also be responsible for the preparation of sales analyses and reports.
Support the sales team in technical customer enquiries.
Assist the sales team in their effort for creating and delivering qualified opportunities to sales representatives where appropriate.
Assists the sales force with Request For Quotation (RFQ) management and other sales cycle operations as needed.
Responds to customer/distributor concerns about the company and its products and services.
Sourcing information, interpreting, developing and implementing results to agreed deadlines.
Investigates and direct distributor transactional and pre-sale technical issues.
Maintains accurate sales entry, reporting and forecasting through utilization of Cummins tools and processes (i.e. common sales cycle, Customer Relationship Management Systems).
Assures good communication and coordination between account management, field sales, upstream influencers, sales management and inside sales to attain the goals of the sales strategy and culture, management of customers, sales talent management and sales operations.
Supporting in the technical submittal process of smaller scale projects
Embrace the Company values and mission; represent and promote Cummins to the Customer internally and externally.
Assists in the pricing analysis and discount decision process.
Supports the sales team in the entry and analysis of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and the Configure Price and Quote (CPQ) systems.
