The Europe Sales Application Engineering team provides technical support to Cummins Distributors and Dealers across the Greater Europe, at pre-sales and installation stage, on the selection, sizing and installation of Diesel and Gas Generating sets and associated systems. As a Sales Application Engineer you will have a great opportunity to develop your skills. This is an extremely diverse and cross-functional role as you will have the opportunity to work with different departments such as Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support and Manufacturing.
As part of your job you will:
Studying towards a Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in an Engineering or related discipline (including Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry)
We are looking for a confident person with a proactive attitude, capable of capable of taking initiative and keen to learn and develop the knowledge in other fields of expertise. No experience is required but we expect you should have a strong technical background. As this part of this role involves delivering technical presentations to a varied group of people you should have good communication skills or the willingness to develop those.
