We are looking for an enthusiastic and data drivenCustomer Order Management Analyst–Placement Student to join our team specialising in Supply Chain Planning, who will have the great opportunity to support the orders for global customers for ourPower Systems Business Segment in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organisation operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Working under the guidance of the Senior Account Representative, the student will be involved with all aspects of order management and customer interface with the plant.
  • Prepare detailed Customer/Distributor Score Cards for review on a quarterly basis.
  • Continuous collation of data attributed to the business using Oracle/Excel and providing the reports to worldwide customers.
  • Researching various attributes of the plant using Oracle/Excel and liaising with various departments in the creation of reports when required.
  • Encouraged to get involved with all other departments at the plant to gain good knowledge and understanding of a global multinational organisation.

  • We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a Bachelor or Master's degree from across all business / business analyses or other related STEM subjects.
  • Computer literacy - proficient knowledge of Windows, in particular Microsoft Excel (Pivot; VLOOKUP) and ability to learn new software packages.
    Attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills (verbal and written), time management and prioritisation skills, proactive attitude.
  • Has experience in, and can demonstrate, relevant examples of Cummins core values e.g. voluntary work, community involvement activities, working with disadvantaged groups, charity related support, delivering superior results, teamwork, competencies and outside education experiences.
