We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineer and Data Analytics Student to join our team specialising in Service Engineering and Data Analytics for our Engine Business Unit in Darlington Engine Plant/ your remote home office. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organisation operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Uses prescribed and innovative methods and works with limited guidance.
Collaborates with the Customer and End user for field investigation and data gathering.
Develops and validates technical work instructions and technical document publication.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to analyse Big Data.
Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure flow of relevant data into the department and create impactful presentations to summarise key findings.
Complete ad hoc data analysis requests submitted via the departmental ticket system
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Technical Documentation - basic knowledge in Technical Documentation of engine operation and repair.
Structured problem-solving process - able to understand and apply structured problem-solving processes to resolve issues.
Experience with MS Excel includingPivot Tables (essential)
