We are looking for an enthusiastic Manufacturing Support Placement Student to join our team specialising in manufacturing processes to support our Darlington engine plant production line. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organisation operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Implement production line improvement projects
• Coordinate the manufacturing change requests process
• Introduce new product to the engine plant
• Collate data and update the department scorecard
• Work as part of a team implementing capital projects
• Create / update plant layouts using Auto CAD and production build instructions using CREO.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards engineering / manufacturing
• A comfortable presenter
• Good organisational skills
• Quick logical thinker with good decision-making skills.
