Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Performance Simulation Placement student to join our team specialising in Electrified Power Segment for our New Business Power Unit in Milton Keynes. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organisation operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

Developing your career

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Utilise existing 1-D analytical models and develop new toolsets especially in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Write reports of results and present back to team
  • Guide physical testing plans creation and attend tests when required
  • Utilise system engineering tools such as iDFMEA and boundary diagrams
  • Support Battery Management System (BMS) performance calibration
  • Be part of a team developing next generation battery products

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Working towards a degree in Engineering
  • Interest and drive for problem solving using simulation methods
  • Ability to collate data, solve problems and think innovatively
  • Strong verbal and written communication
