We are looking for three enthusiastic NPI Placement Students to join our team specializing in Quality for our Business Segment in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Attend design review meeting
  • Complete engine design reviews for NPI department
  • Create and manage engine/genset process documentation
  • Record & update issues database
  • Organise and lead meeting with various stakeholders
  • Support NPI engine builds through the manufacturing process

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a Bachelor or Master's degree from across all Engineering & STEM related subjects (not graduating this academic year)
  • Good PC literacy – a knowledge of 3D modelling software (Solid works/Creo/Fusion 360 etc.) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Practical approach to support technical innovation, be able to recommend improvements, ability to manage own projects
  • Has experience in, and can demonstrate, relevant examples of Cummins core values e.g. voluntary work, community involvement activities, working with disadvantaged groups, charity related support, delivering superior results, teamwork, good communication, competencies, and outside education experiences
