Maintenance Manufacturing Placement Student
Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Manufacturing placement to join our team specialising in maintenance for our Manufacturing Business Segment in Daventry Northamptonshire.
During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organisation operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Monitor oil and coolant usage for CNC equipment – project work for an auto top up system possibility
Support production department operator care sheet project and raise any follow up work
Supports and generates new projects for the maintenance department - CBM project possibility
Tracking MTBF and MTTR maintenance data to ensure equipment efficiency across site - recognise and record trends on failing equipment
Present data findings and projects to maintenance manager and lead manufacturing engineer
Participate in potential machine rebuilds within the block manufacturing line.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Intermediate / advance IT skills – Power BI knowledge preferable but not essential (training given)
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, happy to work desk based and on the shop floor
Strong communication and presentation skills
Passion for maintenance / mechanics / electrical / control systems / engineering
