Our IT teams manage the technology that makes what we do possible. They deliver an intuitive, premium interface on all digital devices, globally. They protect Dyson secrets through cutting edge digital security measures. They ensure our infrastructure performs around the clock. And they find a way to fix issues that stop us from doing our jobs. In the next few years, Dyson is getting even bigger – more people, space and resources.


Working at our state-of-the-art Hullavington Technology Campus, over the course of our 2-year Automotive Graduate Programme, you’ll have the chance to rotate around 3 of our core engineering teams. This will give you the chance to gain a breadth of experience, before specialising in any particular area. During the programme, you will also have the chance to gain exposure to some of the non-engineering teams to help give you a better understanding and appreciation of the electric vehicle business as a whole.

We're looking for high-performing individuals who have a specific desire to work in the automotive industry and who have the drive to deliver on Dyson's most high-profile and fast- paced project to date. The work will be challenging, you’ll have ownership and autonomy over your day to day responsibilities.

Over the course of your 2-year programme, you will complete 6-9-month rotations in 3 of the following teams:

  • Vehicle Integration
  • Safety
  • Chassis
  • Electronics
  • Interiors
  • Body
  • Powertrain.

You will also have the opportunity to complete a shorter rotation in a non-engineering area such as Commercial or Procurement.

Our Graduate programme is designed to give you real responsibility from day one, enabling you to add value and make a real difference. Over the two years you will also be supported with a development programme to hone your skills, evolve your knowledge, and help you take your first steps towards becoming a future leader within our business.


Our Graduate opportunities are competitive and delivering the next generation of Dyson technology is tough, so you’ll need to be:

  • On track for a 2:1 or above in a Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or Automotive discipline, and with a keen interest in the automotive sector.
  • Able to evidence how you have applied your technical knowledge to solve problems, either through your university projects or as part of your extra-curricular activities.
