The Offshore Image Interpreter/ GIS Operative will join NPA Satellite Mapping (NPA), part of CGG’s Geoscience business line based in Edenbridge, UK.
NPA is a world leading supplier of satellite imagery and value added solutions. With strong relationships with commercial satellite operators around the world since the 1970s, NPA is an independent supplier of satellite imagery, providing impartial advice to clients. NPA’s client base is global and has historically predominantly been within the oil & gas sector, however NPA provides imagery and services into all market sectors, particularly mining, engineering, environment and defence.
The employee will support NPA and be responsible for (but not limited to) the interpretation of offshore imagery for slick detection and well as GIS compilation, support & development for the exploration team.
We are seeking an excellent communicator with enthusiasm and drive who has the ability to interact with the team and across other disciplines at NPA. The employee will have the ability to work effectively both within a team and independently (where required). You will be able to take initiative, apply innovative thinking and be a good problem solver.
