What does a Digital Creative Assistant do?

Joining the GeoTraining team and reporting to the Technical Manager for Geophysics, the Creative assistant will be responsible for the update of our E-learning material to meet the new GeoTraining branding specifications

You will form part of a wider team whose overall remit is to make CGG the best company it can be for our customers, employees and stakeholders.

You will be given guidance, training, support and the opportunity to develop in depth knowledge of our business needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with a Creative designer for the updating of our E-learning material to reach the branding specification.
  • Working with the Technical manager for geophysics to include revised technical content.
  • You’ll play a vital part in the support, enhancement and on-going development of ideas to promote the image of the GeoTraining division.
  • You’ll have a highly creative mind-set, with the ability to turn basic concepts and ideas into professional digital media.
  • A working knowledge of all design principles and digital media packages such as the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders – including GeoTraining management team and corporate branding
  • The ability to balance workloads and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Person requirements and required Education and Experience:

Previous experience is not necessary for this role, we will provide in depth training.

The successful candidate will also have the below skills:

  • A keen design eye, some sort of design background and/or creative mind-set
  • Good understanding of online learning
  • Willing to learn new things
  • Familiarity with the developing trends in eLearning
  • Well organised and good time management.

Experience:

  • Demonstrates ability in design through formal education, industry experience or portfolio.
  • Working knowledge of all Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – mostly Adobe Photoshop
  • Familiarity with Articulate 360 would be beneficial but not essential as training would be provided.
