The role 

We are looking for passionate Graduate Platform Engineers to join our expanding global team in Dallas and work at the cutting-edge of Linux, automation, cloud and big data technologies.

This Graduate role will begin on the 2nd of June 2025, where you will join our Platform organisation. Over the course of two years, you will rotate through a range of teams within Platform.

Our Platform Engineering teams create leading-edge developer tools, develop core technologies within Infrastructure as a Service, build Big Data platforms, work on large-scale compute farms and shape user experience across key platforms.

These teams cover a diverse portfolio of products and services, with a large focus on applying automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD tools and methodologies in all of our engineering work. We also have a culture of continuous improvement and utilise open source tooling and best practices to increase the pace of delivery.

Alongside exposure to multiple teams, you will receive tailored training and mentoring from more experienced colleagues.

This is an ideal time to join a growing office and be guided by some of the brightest minds in Dallas.

Who are we looking for?

Students need to have completed at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related degree, and be available to start in June 2025. You will need at least a 3.4 GPA.

We are seeking aspiring Engineers who are enthusiastic about contributing to an automated, scalable, reliable and high performing platform.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with at least one programming language
  • Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, such as Linux, Ansible, Terraform, cloud computing, Kubernetes, Docker, big data and networking
  • An interest in quantitative finance and an understanding of the role engineering plays within the space
  • The ability to prioritise, plan and deliver to support the wider team and ensure work remains on track
  • The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and a proactive approach to learning to stay ahead of the technology curve and identify how we can adopt new technologies in the ways we work
  • Balanced judgement, with the ability to evaluate different approaches and identify appropriate solutions
  • Adaptable communication style and approach, tailored to your audience, in order to convey compelling messages
  • The ability to understand the needs and challenges of others and present mutually beneficial solutions
  • A collaborative approach and a desire to build effective relationships across the business

You will be working on initiatives that contribute to enabling our aspiration of being world #1 such as public cloud, Data Center modernization, Performance optimization, Open source adoption and contribution.
