The degree apprenticeship with Sheffield Hallam University is a 3-year course in which you will study part time alongside your full-time role. You will cover many modules such as Financial Management, Marketing, Leadership & Change Management, Business Project Management and Big Data Analytics. The degree includes a final stage project in conjunction with Capgemini’s business.

Your role 

On joining, you will be assigned to start in one of the following roles. As your career progresses, there will be the opportunity to rotate across these roles to support your development of a broad set of skills and exposure to different parts of the business.

• Programme Management Office (PMO) Project Analyst: Working alongside one or more Project Manager(s), delivering the monitoring, control, and management of project finances, resource capacity planning and utilization, on and offboarding, risks and issues, change management, and project planning.
• Service Analyst: You will be working within a Service team, focusing on the performance and achievement of Service Level Agreements for Services into the client. This includes the management and trending of incidents, problems, changes, and continual improvements, whilst driving compliance and collaborating with technical teams to deliver the agreed availability, performance, and obligations of the Services.
• Business Operation Analyst (BOA): Supporting the day-to-day operational activities of our business, including finances, communications plan, calendar and mailbox management, and resource planning. You will have the opportunity to work with leadership teams across the business.

In addition to your degree apprenticeship, you will receive role-based training and coaching to ensure technical growth that kickstarts your career and sets you up for #GetTheFutureYouWant at Capgemini. You will also be offered the opportunity to train towards professional certification.

Your profile 

To be eligible, you need:

• 7 GCSEs including Maths and English grades 4-9

Plus, one of the following:

• 3 A*-C at A-level (NOTE: AS Levels are not included)
• Completed Advanced Apprenticeship
• BTEC (Pass, Pass, Distinction minimum)

This role is only available to be based in our office in Telford, West Midlands. As such, you will need to be based within a commutable distance to the Telford office where you should expect to typically be in our Telford office 3 days a week. This specific role is not available to be based in any other UK office, but other opportunities on our website have more flexibility on locations.

Your Security Clearance 

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.

Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
